Welcome to the Future of Work with AI

Will AI take your job? It's the wrong question. The honest answer to the wrong question is: maybe parts of it. The honest answer to the right question is much more useful. The right questions are: which tasks in your job will AI handle better than you? Which tasks become more important when routine work gets automated? Which roles disappear, which transform, which appear that didn't exist five years ago? And what does the data actually say versus what fear-driven articles claim? This course is for people thinking about their career, their team, or their org five years out. It's evidence-based, not speculative. We use research from McKinsey, the World Economic Forum, IBM, and labor market data. We avoid both AI hype and AI doom. We'll cover: • The current state: what has actually changed in work since 2022 • The macro forces shaping the next decade of work • What the data says: McKinsey's 40% automation projection, breaking it down • Four scenarios for jobs by 2030 (WEF) • Human + AI: the new team structure • How AI changes the office (physical, hybrid, remote) • The paradoxes: productivity gains but wage stagnation, skills demand but skills gap • The longer arc: 2050 demographic + AI dynamics • Public sentiment vs reality: why fear outweighs hope No technical knowledge required. The course works whether you're a worker, manager, or someone designing org structures. Time: ~2 to 3 hours across 10 articles.
